February 26 Outfit of the Day

Today I choose to wear all Rhonda Shear. My warp knit skirt is so comfortable, and could be worn as a dress as well. My tank is a Haute Pink tank is available at HSN. It has a shelf bra in it and is so soft. My fringe bootie heels are from HSN as well and they are by Poetic License. My statement necklace is from Ann Taylor Loft Outlet. A $4 steal! Love a good deal!

February 25 Outfit of the Day

Today I had trouble picking out what I wanted to wear, most likely because I was really tired from Monday night. I had an 11pm HSN show. If you ask any of my friends they will definitely tell you that I love color. Most of my wardrobe is bright colors. So I choose an A.N.A flowy, floral top with a pair of Gap boot cut jeans. My bright yellow flats are from Old Navy. I had earrings from Forever 21 on that you can't see but they were very Betsy Johnson inspired.

February 24 Outfit of the Day

Today I was styling shows at HSN for Rhonda Shear today. I just wanted to dress comfortably. And not in my favor I got to see my fashion idol Giuliana Rancic. I didn't get a chance to speak to her, I would have probably stuttered...but nonetheless it was cool to see her. So my look for today was my A.N.A for JCP dark boot cut jeans, my JCP grey tank (that I could live in), turquoise sandals from Old Navy, and gold turquoise hoop earrings from Rue 21. I also got photo-bombed by my cat!

Lash Sleeve Mascara Review

I am so excited to announce that I am starting to do beauty reviews on my blog! Beauty, make-up, and skincare are a huge part of my life! I always look for great new products to try, so now I get to try new products out and let you know my opinion on them.

For my first review I was sent the Lash Sleeve Mascara. I usually never leave my house with out foundation, blush, and mascara. Those are my 3 must haves.

So I was so excited to try out a new mascara. When I first put the mascara on I noticed that it wasn't clumping at all, which I loved. The product information states that "[the] mascara surrounds each lash and has a shrink wrap effect on the lashes after it is dry." I never really use lash curlers, so I was hoping it would make my lashes look longer, which it did! The best way to describe the lash look it gave me was a very "twiggy" look. The lashes still looked natural, but darker and longer! After I was ready to take it off, it came off really easy with the make-up remover wipes that I have. Below are some photos for you to see the differences.
This my lashes without any mascara on them. I have very thin lashes

Here is a photo of one of my eyes done with 2 coats of the Lash Sleeve Mascara. Tip: remember to always put your mascara on your bottom lashes first, if you put mascara on your top lashes first you might have transfer of the wet mascara onto your brow area.

Here is a photo with both eyes done with 2 coats on each.

Here is another picture in different light of the after.

In conclusion I really like this mascara. It has a clean feel, makes my lashes look long, and didn't smudge or run all day, as well had an easy clean up! Check out their website and get a tube for yourself!

Disclaimer: My opinions are my own, I was not monetarily compensated for this review. I say what my honest remarks are about the product.

February 19 Outfit of the Day

HUMMMMPPP DDDAAAYYYY! Had to say it! I am kinda liking experimenting with colors right now. My olive green pants are from Old Navy. My purple heather 3/4 sleeve dolman is from Gap, I know shocking! My necklace is also from Gap. I always get so many compliments on my necklace. My sandals are also from Gap. I really like this outfit, cant wait to experiment with more colors that I wouldn't usually pair together. I'm usually a pretty matchy-matchy person, but breaking out of that bubble slowly!

February 18 Outfit of the Day

My Tuesday outfit is super casual. My black Gap leggings, I actually have a few pairs of Gap leggings so I don't always wear the same pair :) My sheer lace blouse is DKNY from Beall's Department Store. Which is a Florida only department store. And my black buckle boots are from Charlotte Russe. I love the short heel on these. They are comfortable to wear all day.

February 17 Outfit of the Day

Happy Monday! Yesterday I went shopping with my mom to Khols and I found a few cute tops from Jennifer Lopez and Lauren Conrad. They both have such amazing lines and they had some great deals I couldn't pass up! If you know me you know I love a good deal! This is one of the tops I got by Jennifer Lopez. I love how it drapes in the front and the dolman sleeves. It's so comfortable and flowy! My dark denim boot cut jeans are from A.N.A, JCP's private label line. They are super comfortable! My earrings are from Rue 21 Etc, they are gold hoops with turquoise beaded accents. My new favorite earrings! And my strappy sandals are from GAP!

February 16 Outfit of the Day

Sunday was a slower day for me, finally got a morning to sleep in, the afternoon I had a meeting for the organization that I volunteer for then I had dinner with my family. Another day where I just wanted to dress comfortably. These leggings are from Gap and they are a dark blue, even though you really can't tell. My grey tank is from JCP, a steal for $6.99, and this one has the Spandex in it too! You can always find the same version of something for less! My olive green jacket is from Gap as well. And I am obsessed with the lace up combat boots from Rue 21 Etc. They are so edgy, and really takes the outfit to the next level. I don't actually remember where I found my feather necklace at...

February 15 Outfit of the Day

On the 15th, I was teaching one of my fashion classes at a local library. I usually always dress comfortably/casually for my classes. I like to show those who attend that there's a lot you can do with just a few items. On this day it was just a tad chilly in Florida, and since I just recently moved and really got to see all the clothing and accessories that I own (which was very over-whelming!) I found a whole bunch of cute clothes that were packed away! This pair of Gap black leggings are so comfortable and I wish I could live in them during winter. The white tank is from Rhonda Shear, and it has the built in shelf bra, which I love. And the sweater is from Charlotte Russe (I used buy a lot from that store :) The sweater was one of the finds from my pack aways. The boots are from Rue 21 Etc and my bag is Jessica Simpson from Stein Mart. My pendant necklace is from Tilly's surf store. They actually have some cute items in there! And of course my Michel Kors sunnies! I really liked this outfit, after the class I went to lunch with my sister and met some friends up at the mall. It was an easy look for all my events that day.

February 14 Outfit of the Day

For my Valentine's Day I choose a simple new style. I wore my favorite A.N.A skinny jeans from JCP, a white wide strap tank from Gap. I love these tanks because they have a little bit of spandex in them to help keep their shape. The 100% cotton ones always did this weird stretching out and it just looked horrible. Now my favorite part of the outfit is my blue striped infinity scarf. I wore it as more of a shawl/sweater! This is such a cute idea to try to add a little something else to a relatively plain outfit. It is always cold in the office I work in, so its just enough to keep me warm. Since Spring is coming up there are so many patterns of infinity scarves coming out, my favorite is the chevron print! I'm obsessed with chevron! My flats are navy blue suede from Old Navy. These are the most comfortable flats!

February 13 Outfit of the Day

Today I was invited to go down to St. Petersburg City Hall to represent the American Heart Association, a charity that the company I work for donates and volunteers their time with. I was suggested to wear red, so I did!

My dress is from Gap, kinda from a while ago. My bootie heels are from HSN by Libby Edelman and I have a gold link necklace from Bealls.

Happy Styling!

February 12 Outfit of the Day

Today at work we had CNN Latino come and film a Valentine's Day segment. I figured I would try to dress up a little, as well I am ready to break out the Spring colors!

Today I wore a striped yellow dress from Old Navy, a turquoise bauble necklace I got on Ebay, white strappy wedges from Express, and small gold stud earrings from Ann Taylor Loft. A fun, comfortable look that is easy to pull off and I love mixing bright colors like yellow and turquoise!

February 11 Outfit of the Day

Today I had a accessory presentation for the Wives of Army Veterans Club. I spoke about how to tie/wrap scarves and accessory trends for Spring/Summer 2014! I had such a wonderful time and I appreciate that they wanted me to speak at their function.

For my outfit I wore my favorite skinny jeans by A.N.A at JC Penney's, my favorite Rhonda Shear tank top (a must have for every wardrobe), and a light beige Calvin Klein blazer I found at Marshall's for a $20 steal!!!!! Love the good deals! For accessories I wore what I talked about in my powerpoint, a tassel necklace from Beall's and my stacked skinny gold bangles are from Forever 21. And my flats are from Old Navy!

Happy Shopping!

Christian Fashion Week 2014

This weekend was the 2nd Annual Christian Fashion Week. This time around was a full week of fashion events. I was lucky enough to be a stylist for three designers this year! What a whirlwind!

Thursday night was their VIP Party. Where we all got to mingle with the designers, other stylists, make-up artists, and all the other volunteers.
This is Dali Hernandez I helped style her line on Friday night. Such a sweet lady!

Here is a backstage shot of Dali's models before making their way to the runway! These girls were amazing!

Saturday was a crazy day! I was styling Rachel Weathersby line. She unfortunately wasn't able to make the event so I helped represent her line. Her designs were so intricate and detailed, I felt like I was in the 20s era!
Here's a shot of her models before strutting their stuff on the cat walk!

Since Rachel couldn't be there to represent her line, I walked the runway for her. I was so nervous! I am definitely more of a behind the scenes type! That's why I am a stylist!

The other designer I helped to style was Mendinah Hagan-Morgan. Her line was more of a winter inspired. I was on the hunt to find some berets! I ended up finding the perfect ones in an army-navy store!
Here's a great picture of all her models together! Can I have all of this for my wardrobe??!!!

I am so happy that I got to be apart of this incredible event! I look forward to seeing what the next year brings!
