3.1 Phillip Lim at Target

On September 15, Target launched 3.1 Philip Lim, an affordable yet stylish line that appeals to every shopper. From graphic sweatshirts (so on trend right now) to embellished dresses, to Celine-esque satchels. The first day that the line was launched the the handbags were the first to go. In a Black Friday fashion shoppers bum rushed the West Hollywood Target to be the first ones to get their hands on the handbags. Thank goodness they have replenished their stock, because I am so in love with the gusseted tote in taupe. All the tops, blouses, and blazers are perfect for work attire or to pair with skinny jeans and heels for a night out on the town. Check out the collection and tell me what you think! Happy Shopping!

Military Green

So for Fall 2013 one of my favorite trends is the military-olive green trend. Seen all over the NY runway from Prabal Gurung to Philip Lim and St. John. I absolutely love this trend because it's such an easy look and you can pull another trend into the look with short ankle booties! Some other colors you can pari with olive green is yellow, gray, pink, coral red, and of course black! Here are some examples to help inspire you!

These skinny cropped pants are from Gap for only $59.95. These will definitely be your go to pants for Fall. Photo courtesy of www.gap.com

This shift dress from Nanette Lapore ($398) is just so trendy with a pair of ankle buckle booties. Photo courtesy of www.revolveclothing.com

I am seriously obsessed with these utility shirts from Old Navy ($26.94) they look great with dark skinny jeans, khakis, or and they are so easy to add accessories with, just stack some gold bracelets and a chunky watch and your good to go.

This picture is totally being posted again. This was my outfit from the Cocktails & Couture fashion show I attended, my olive green top is from A.N.A and my silky lounge pants are from Joe Fresh!

Cocktails & Couture Fashion Show

This week is the Tampa Bay Fashion Week. On Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the 'Cocktails & Couture' fashion show benefiting the local pediatrics foundation. Many local boutiques and hair salon mogul Kevin Murphy (who provided the VIP goody bags) came together and put on a great show. Men walked the runway in outfits that made the girls scream, and the girls flaunted their sky high legs in outfits that we all desired. Anye Cole provided a great opening with her music and the DJ was right on point.

It was great to be around all my stylist and model friends, and I had one of my good friends join me for her first fashion show. I love to be able to share my passion with such great people.

Check out the pictures (sorry for the quality) from the show and looking forward to the other events going on this week at Tampa Bay Fashion Week!

First off is my outfit I wore to the show, my top is from A.N.A. and my pants are Joe Fresh both from JC Penney. My earrings are from Forever 21, only $4.80! My watch is Michael Kors, my favorite in rose gold=TDF. My bracelets are from Forever 21 and Lisa Hoffman. The black suede clutch is from Gap Outlet. Don't forget to check out my attempt at curling my hair LOL!

Where to Shop Wednesday

Don Me Now

For my first post for my Wednesday "Where to Shop" topic I wanted to feature one of my good friend's boutique and style lounge in Hyde Park Village - Don Me Now. My friend Danielle McFarland opened earlier this year and ever since then has been busy styling her clients.

What makes this store unique is that you can shop for trendy must-haves or you can indulge in tailored styling session. With nine different personal styling options to choose from you can get quick advice with a 15-minute session or be red carpet ready after your 4-hour monthly personal styling experience. You can check out www.donmenow.com for more information about the styling services that are offered.

What I love about Danielle is that she takes her store to the next level by tagging items that are "Styling Stapes." And who would know better than a fashionista herself. These items are interchangeable and versatile for the season.

Some of the bright Summer scarves and belts

Yummie Tummie body shape wear = must have!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you say obsessed with the bangles and necklaces. I'll take one of each please!!!

More jewelry featured in the center of the boutique

Don't forget to fill out your Client Profile card

I love how Danielle features bright trendy colors in a variety of dresses, tops, and bottoms

More tops and shorts from Don Me Now

Striped maxi dresses, everyone needs at least one in their wardrobe

Danielle features "Style Bistro's" around the store which a collage of celebrities donning the latest trends featured in the store

Danielle is so excited to roll out her new Fall merchandise and move summer items out. She has a wide variety of denim coming in and is excited to showcase her Fall collection to everyone.

Don Me Now is located at 1627 West Snow Circle, Tampa, Fl. 33606
Hours: Mon-Sat: 10am-7pm

Jewelry Tuesday

Chain Link Bracelets

With an ode to the one of the most influential designers of all time Coco Chanel, one of this Fall's jewelry trends is the interwoven chain link bracelet. The idea came from her chain link shoulder straps from the classic flaps. Karl Lagerfeld donned his runway muses in stacked black and white chain link bracelets. A simple yet timeless detail that you can wear with any outfit day or night.
